Exploring Mills 50 District – Murals of Orlando
A wall is a very big weapon.- Bansky
Without a doubt, April is a great month in Florida to be outside and enjoy the best weather the Sunshine state offers. Sunny days just inspire us to go and spend as much time outside as possible. Forget the outlets, the theme parks, and the beach. We decided to go on a safari around Orlando neighborhoods for mural hunting. As we search for street art that dresses the facade of the City Beautiful, it is no wonder that the city hides its essence away from the amusement parks and enters further into the metropolitan area.
Orlando has so much to offer, not only from the famous parks and other attractions, but this city is all about charm. Did you know that The City Beautiful ranked No. 17 on the 2019 Top 100 Best Places to Live list?
Apart from being a page all about discovering new spaces and presenting 3D virtual tours, today we decided to take a ride with the Pro 2 camera in search of Orlando’s visual arts and present the murals in a panoramic view.
The murals of Mills 50.
While this is our progress list of favorites, we highly recommend finding your own. Murals are especially widespread in the Mills 50 and Milk District, whereas older areas like Orange Blossom Trail and Silver Star feature all kinds of fresh, worn textures and colors which we’ll cover in Part 2.

Behind the meanings of a mural lies a dedication to someone or something through that visual art. #StrongOrlando was one of the many beautiful murals that were painted after the Pulse Tragedy. A life changing event for our community, a tragic day most people in Orlando and the world would never forget.
